Loritab Addiction

What is Lorcet and Loritab Addiction?

Lorcet and Loritab addictions are basically the same thing since each drug has the same active ingredients: Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. They are just made by different manufacturers and are opiates available only through prescription. Lorcet / Loritab addiction is an addiction to narcotic painkillers. Lorcet / Loritab are prescribed by physicians for their patients' pain management. When the patient carefully takes Loritab for pain and uses it strictly as prescribed, they should not develop an addiction.

Signs of Lorcet / Loritab Addiction include the following symptoms: blurry vision, constipation, itchiness and sweats. The potential for Lorcet / Loritab addiction varies from one individual to the next depending upon their unique biological differences. Some individuals though, that tend to have addictive personalities can start taking either of these medications for pain management, experience a pleasurable feeling that they wish to recreate and in time seek to recreate that feeling leading them to abuse Lorcet or Loritab. Once the Loritab is abused, pain becomes harder to eliminate and the initial pleasurable feeling is never recreated. What has occurred is an unfortunate tolerance, ultimately leading to a Lorcet / Loritab addiction.
